Do not try ECEI Evaluation if you are a foreign applicant
Try CPEES....because my application is with them since one year. Their fee is awefully high and their service sucks...big time.
I am planning to re-apply through CPEES(New NCEES program). ECEI is overloaded with lots of application.....If you do not trust me....try their phone line. Yopu will be on hold forever................ |

Re:Do not try ECEI Evaluation if you are a foreign applicant
But the key question is, will your state board accept evaluation other that that from the notorious ECEI?

Re:Do not try ECEI Evaluation if you are a foreign applicant
in addition to AACRAO evaluation, you may send your Transcripts and diplomas either photocopied (certified or not) or original ones, they have an advantage, they have contacts in their list of universities around the world, and they can quickly verify schools and transcripts if it is fraud or not.

Re:Do not try ECEI Evaluation if you are a foreign applicant
I would suggest CPEES. It is true that their evaluation can take like 9 -12 months, but I feel they did a reasonable job evaluating my degree.
CPEES is the recognized organization by all states. I would not use other companies. ECEI is closed now. Good for them becuase the where the worst of the worst. CPEES seems to be much better in comparison. Note: not all states require that our degree is evaluated by CPEES before taking the FE. Michigan and California (reuqires 3 years experience) do not require it. For the PE you must have your degree evaluated. |
